English Language challenges

My experience studying English at the university has been very enriching. The use of blogs is very interesting and helps us to get vocabulary that we have in mind.

I think the teacher of this course knew how to keep us interactive and present in the class by taking short classes and asking us basic questions that help us learn new vocabulary.

I liked English because they teach it at school, when they teach English they also teach about the culture of the countries in which they speak and that also catches my attention, a different life to the one we live in Chile

I believe that learning to speak English is necessary for any professional since it can open or close doors. Personally, I would like to work abroad in the future, therefore improving my English is vital to fulfill my dreams.

Changes to my study programme

As this is my fifth year at the university and I hardly have any mesh branches, I can say that in general the curriculum is good. However, I realized that there are many branches in the area of analytical chemistry and that after approving the three courses in this area, then another 2 come with other names.

I think they could have given the same emphasis to other areas such as inorganic chemistry that only has two theoretical courses.

The academic load was more intense from the second to the fourth year, then everything has been more relaxed, but I still remember the stress and anxiety that the dates of examinations of important branches caused me.

When I got to the university I liked the infrastructure of the place much more, there was an old bus where parties were held and in the surroundings there were many areas where one could sit on the grass and be with friends. Since we returned from the pandemic, the university seems concrete everywhere and it is quite demotivating, but new areas of study have emerged in a place where there used to be a cafeteria (I don't know if that was a good or bad change).

Regarding teachers, I have been able to notice when a teacher has pedagogy and likes to teach and they are the least. Many professors who teach in this faculty have been the same for years and the university does not worry about training them with the current needs of new students, this was reflected with the online classes where it was noted that many professors were not there. the height and did not prepare classes that would be attractive to their students.

Time Travel to the future

If there was a time machine, i would like to do something that doesn't really make sense. I would like to travel to the past and fix all the mistakes that humanity has made since the discovery of some things, such as the discovery of oil, since that day and thanks to the fact that it continues to be used in the lives of humans, our destiny is sealed. this is only and example of all the actions that the human has done but talking about fantasy i would love to travel one hundred years in the future because I will not be alive and because I really have confidence in all the new generations that the planet can be saved and things like equality can be real.

I think that i would not stay there too much time because if i have the time machine i can go anywhere i wanted.

My future job

The job that i would like to have in the future is none because i would like not to have to work and be able to enjoy life without consumerism, however, as we all know that it is impossible, i decided to study a scientific career. This is why my future work will be as a chemist.

I imagine that i will work in a laboratory of some industry which would be carrier in the indoor, although i would also like to work abroad collecting samples.

I believe that this type of work allows you to travel depending on the area where you work, personally i have no illusions about traveling for a job since it would be far from the people i love and my peace of mind.

From what i have heard, a chemist working in Chile does not earn as much as a chemist with a postgraduate degree, although this does not matter much to me. I chose this scientific area not to become a millionaire.

I think that after five years in this career i can say that i chose well, i love working in the laboratory and it is something that i would like to do until i have no to work any more  xd

Themed Free Post

In this post I will talk about the book that has impacted me the most personally and has made me value my life a little more, it is called "Verónika decides to die" by the author Paulo Coelho.

The book tells the story of a woman who decides to commit suicide because she did not find meaning in her life and that is why she becomes intoxicated with pills with the illusion of not waking up again. Unfortunately for her, her suicide attempt was a failure as she was found and rushed to hospital. Veronika wakes up in an asylum for having tried to kill herself, in this place of confinement she is diagnosed with a rare disease caused by the pills that I take. This disease has no cure and therefore they tell you that you will die in a short time.

Veronika begins to reconsider the things she has in her life and the people who love her and are around her, and she begins to regret that she will be locked up until the day she dies.

in the madhouse she meets a ecquisphrenic guy with whom she falls in love. Both completely in love with each other, they learn that Veronika's death will be ahead of schedule as her heart was failing. The night before his supposed day of death, both decide to escape from the asylum. The next day Veronika and her lover wake up and realize that she did not die. This is how Veronika ventures into the world together with her lover, living each day as if it were the last.

I hope you like this review and give this book a try!

Themed Free Post - Carrer Related [hopefully]

One topic that I would like to study is botany. In my house my mother has always had plants and with time I started to like them too, I liked to see the process from the germination of the seed to when the plant is already big. I also liked helping my mother to water the plants and from that moment I began to love the smell of humid earth, I feel that I can transport myself to a much quieter and more peaceful area.

the study of plants is becoming more and more relevant since there are many varieties of terrestrial and aquatic plants that have evolved differently and therefore function differently. The importance of terrestrial plants lies in the fact that they are the main producers of the oxygen that we breathe and need to live and also absorb the CO2 that we eliminate from the environment, both humans and animals, companies, etc.

If we think about it, planting the plants could save us from the exincion but there are plants that need much more water than others to produce the same amount of oxygen, that is where the study of plants comes in since there are these plants that take up less water , which is already quite scarce and could help us to prolong our stay on this planet.

The best concert

The best concert i have been was Defqon 2016, it took place in mayoco an it was my first music electronic  concert. I went with my boyfriend and the truth is that neither of us were going to see a specific artist, we were only struck by the idea of an event like this and we just had the money so we went to luck.

In an electronic music event there are at least four stages with different environments that are themselves branches of electronic music so we could enjoy different environments from hardstyle to house.

That day was one of the best of my life since I fell in love with this style of music and from there I began to know other massive events such as Creamfields where I have already attended the 2017 version, 2018 and I even have the 2019 entry which it could not be carried out due to the social outbreak and subsequent pandemic. Although the event has already been confirmed to take place in 2021 so I look forward to it!

What i most remember is that  with my boyfriend we did not know that we had to carry so much money to conserve inside (either food or drinks) so we brought sandwiches but when they checked our backpacks they threw everything away :(

That day I learned what you should take to consume inside or you will die of hunger or thirst.

A country you would like to visit

When i finish the university, i would like to visit a lot of different country but speciali i want to visit egypt, because i want to meet the pyramid raised on the plain of Giza and it is the place where the ancient pharaohs were buried.

What I know most about Egypt and its pyramids is that they actually hid burial chambers of ancient pharaohs where they were filled with the fortune of the deceased and were very well hidden so that grave robbers could not find them. In fact, some of the graves are still lost in the depths of the sand.

I would love to meet the pyrimid and if it is possible enter them. There is a myth that in the pyramids of giza there are interdimensional portals called wormholes. They say that a different energy is felt in that place and I would like to explain it.

I would like to visit egypt mainly, but i would accept any opportunity of stay either to study or work, not like a place to live because it´s a country too hot and i would not like to be there for a long time.
